Mapping 40 lighting cues in a new theatre

Hello. I've been using Show Cue System for a year now and really love it!

For a 90 minute theatre production I run lighting, music, and projection cues with it.

When I go to a new theatre, I'm wondering if I can somehow plug into the installed DMX lighting, instead of using my tripod with four RGBW LED lights? Will I have to completely remap each fixture to the brand and style the theatre has in place, meaning redoing all 40 cues? Obviously, I'm trying to avoid that, especially since I only use four lights. Is there anyway to do a kind of DMX "plug 'n play"?

Thanks for your help.

I do something like this.
I create fixture types to define channels for the fixture.

Then I create a theatre distribution with lights with names and fixture types and I set the dmx channel.

The light cues have a list of lights by name with its setups.

Then I only need to change the dmx channel of each fixture in the device map.
If the fixtures of one theatre have diferent number of channels may be little bit difficult to re-assign the right dmx channel to the right fixture.

Thanks, Lluis, for the help and your screenshots!

I think I'll be able to handle it. Close to what I'm already doing. Basically, if lucky, I'll just have to change the channels...
