Video Display on MS Display Adapter-attached Device

Seems like I fought through this problem a couple of years back, and here I am again.
I have a second display device (projector) accessed from Windows 10 using a MicroSoft Display Adapter. It connects with laptop just fine, and through Windows settings I can configure it run as an extended display device, make it the primary (sole) display, or duplicate the primary display on both devices.
I see no way to tell SCS I want play video cues on the projector. (Audio, I think is going to the remote display just fine. Not 100% sure of that, yet.) And I can't find SCS instructions on what Windows settings would be apropos for what I'm trying to accomplish.
Can you help?
