First cue freezes after a long period of non-use

Hello everybody,
our theater has been using SCS on many computers for about 10 years.
For half a year we have had the following problem:
Sometimes if the computer is switched on for a while before the show and SCS is running but not used, the first cue will stop after a short time. After about 5 seconds it continues from the same point. This happens on different computers.
Is this a known problem?
Is it possible that this is due to the HDD, which goes into standby mode after a long time? Could an SSD solve the problem? Or is it another mistake?
Thanks in advance!

Do you have a USB interface being used by SCS? A common issue is that Windows disables the USB power. See FAQ 10 on our FAQ page for advice on how to fix that issue.

Thanks for your answer!
We use both Dante Virtual Soundcard and USB interfaces (RME Fireface UC) on different computers. The problem is with both ways.

I wouldn't think it's the HDD because SCS has a 'stay awake' procedure that writes to a file in the local temporary folder once every 5 minutes.

A log file will have been created and saved in a folder named "SCS Logs" under "Documents", and the name of the file includes a time-stamp indicating when the log started. Please email me the log file from a run where this occurred.
