Hi All!
Is anyone here using Connexant drivers with any success? I got rid of mine and switched to generic windows drivers a couple of years ago as the Connexant driver seemed to 'sleep' if not used for 30 seconds or so, resulting in a delay when triggering the next track. The generic High Definition Audio Device driver was fantastic.
However with this latest Win 10 update, the Connexant drivers have been reinstated, and try as I might I can't get shot of them or the bundled Bang & Olufsen sound control bundle and get the generic driver back.
I've tried everything online to no avail.
HP Zbook Studio G3, Win 10 Pro.
Connexant Issues again
Re: Connexant Issues again
Have you tried this, which I found? I haven't had to try it because I am still on WS7.
1.Open Device Manager.
2.Select Conexant driver and Uninstall it.
3.Reboot.
4.After it boots up, make sure you connected to the internet. Windows will install that driver again.
5.Then, quickly go to Device Manager and select "Rollback Changes". This will remove Conexant Driver and use Windows HD Audio driver instead (which is works better than OEM driver).
