Is it possible to have audio files default at a different level than -3dB when creating new audio cue?

I looked around in options and production properties but couldn't find anything.

Is it somehow possible to define a default value for the levels of the cues when they are loaded?

As an example: I get multiple files on a stick or whatever, load them into scs and then I notice that I want maybe one of them to be way louder than the other ones. Since -3dB is "max" I have to manually turn down all the other cues, to have that one cue to be louder, and also re-gain my console.

You can change the audio levels of multiple cues using Bulk Edit Cues. With this feature, set 'Field to be changed' to 'Audio Level' and then select the required the 'Change Type'. The choices are "Change in dB Level (+/-)", "New dB Level", and "Apply Peak Normalization". See Bulk Edit Cues for more info.

Open Editor, click on Cues button and select "Bulk Edit Cues..." or use Ctrl+B

Also, in the Device Map, the configuration for each audio output device ( i.e. each speaker ) can have a default output level.
I normally set this to -20.
Then any new audio cues you create will use that level as the initial level, specific to each output

But is this setting you're speaking of the "main master" for the outputs in question? It's not the level of the audio file loaded itself?

This is the level for the audio file. There is some kind of master for each audio device right in the list of audio devices.
