Show Cue System

Hi. Sometimes I have to work with videos produceb by a local tv. They give me interlaced videos so I need to apply some filter for deinterlacing them for avoid "combing effect"
I can do that easily "on the fly" with VLC for example. Can I avoid interlacing in SCS somehow?
