video image cues not remembering position settings

Post by moonthink » Thu Sep 20, 2018 2:31 am

Hi,
I'm a long long time SCS user, currently working on a show where the only cues are video image cues. Pretty simple, 5 cues. Projecting onto a smaller surface, so the image needs scaled and positioned.

Here's the issue: I set the x-position, the y-position, and the scale for each image. Simple 1366 x 768 jpg images, 5 sec fade in, 5 sec fade out, output to screen 2, nothing else special about it.

Then I save the show. As long as the program is open, it retains those settings. But when I close the show, and open it again -- those settings all revert to default - 0.

My video operator is basically just a dude -- a button pusher with no knowledge or comfortable familiarity with manually typing in the setting for all those cues for every single performance.

I looked around in the forums for others with this issue, and checked change logs, but didn't see this there either. Is there something I am doing wrong? Why does it not retain these settings?

I originally programmed the show on 11.6.2.1 Then today I updated to the most recent version (11.7.1.3) hoping that it would be fixed. Nope.

With 11.7.1.3, a log file for each run will have been created and saved as a zip file in a folder named "SCS Logs" under "Documents" or "My Documents", and the name of the file includes a time-stamp indicating when the log started. Please email me the zipped log files of a run in which you changed the x-position, etc, and the log of the next run (which did not use the changed x-position, etc).
