SCreen 2 on hdmi on laptop
SCreen 2 on hdmi on laptop
I have my laptop set up with 2 screens with screen 2 on the HDMI port . When I run a show cue I get the output from screen 1 with all the controls etc not just the show video. I assume I have something not set up correctly as I will be using HDMI port to input into theatre projector and will just want the show on there .Any ideas what I am doing wrong. Currently HDMI is connected to a second TV screen .

Make sure you have the HDMI-connected TV turned on before you start SCS. How is this device declared in Windows? It must be set up as an extension of the Windows desktop.
If this is all set up correctly and you still can't get video/image cues to display on the TV then please email me a diagnostic file. You can create this file by selecting 'Create Diagnostic File' from the drop-down menu displayed when you click the Help button in the main window. The file will be saved in a folder named "SCS Diagnostics" under "Documents" or "My Documents". Note that this diagnostic file MUST be created with a setup where you would expect the video/image cues to display on the TV, ie TV turned on before starting SCS, etc.

Under WIndows:
- Right-click on the desktop
- Select "Display Properties"
- Go to "Settings".
- Windows indicated that two screens are connected to your PC.
- Screen 1 is the current screen of your PC.
- Screen 2 is the secondary screen ( TV or projector).
- Click on the screen 2 and check "Extend the desktop onto this monitor"
