Hi! I am setting up a show and have a video to project. Video is in the program, codecs installed, and plays fine. I'm having two problems, though:
1. The video is setup to play on screen 3. However, the display for the output is offset to the right and down about halfway on my third screen. When the program is closed, my desktop displays in the correct space, but I can't figure out how to fix this.
2. I can't get the audio in the video to play. I have the device set to default, but I get no sound.
Thanks in advance for your help!
Steve

Re: Video/Image Cue Issue
Have a look through your cues. You will find at least on cue that has the 'screen' set to 4 or 5. If SCS can't find sufficient screens connected for the maximum screen number you have in your cues, it will split the last connected screen into parts to display each output screen in a portion of that last connected screen. After correcting your cues, close and restart SCS. btw, in SCS 11.6 you will get a warning message if SCS needs to split the last screen.saxman1815 wrote:1. The video is setup to play on screen 3. If you haven't already done this, download and install LAVFilters from https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters/releases. Download the latest Installer.exe file (eg LAVFilters-0.69-Installer.exe) as running this executable is the easiest way to install the package, and by default will install both the 32-bit and the 64-bit versions. In the Select Components window of the Setup dialog, make sure you have at least all the LAV... checkboxes selected (which they should be by default).saxman1815 wrote:2. If you still; have problems, could you email me a diagnostic file? You can create this file by selecting 'Create Diagnostic File' from the drop-down menu displayed when you click the Help button in the main window. The file will be saved in a folder named "SCS Diagnostics" under "Documents" or "My Documents".

Re: Video/Image Cue Issue
Thanks for your reply. I am emailing you the diagnostics file. I only have audio cues set up so far - no other video cues. So I can't find any other options for setting the display. As for the audio, I did install the LAVfilters with all checkboxes checked. No luck.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
Re: Video/Image Cue Issue
I'm a total newbie, so please forgive me for being mostly lost.
I'm a HS theatre teacher, and I'm looking for a good way to manage audio cues and video cues (because our space has a super nice projector). One of my co-workers uses ProPresenter on her mac, but it's ancient and not a good solution long term. SCS looks to be a in a much better price/value point for us.
So I was able to quickly recreate a show using the video files from her propresenter performance (this was simply a test to see how student easy it might be). Amazing, works great, done!
Now I'm creating a show from scratch using some random videos (wma and mp4s) on my computer. Video only works fine, but when I have a video with music as well as main audio, I get a weird delay playing it through SCS. The video pops up with no problems, but the any music audio doesn't come on until about halfway through. Dialogue will start normally? Not sure the significance, but my problem videos were made using Windows Movie Maker and finalized into mp4s.
Any suggestions for a starting point in working out how to get my audio to start? Am I making any sense?

Could you email me a diagnostic file? You can create this file by selecting 'Create Diagnostic File' from the drop-down menu displayed when you click the Help button in the main window. The file will be saved in a folder named "SCS Diagnostics" under "Documents" or "My Documents". Please tell me which cue(s) have this problem. I may subsequently ask you for one of the related video files, but I'll have a look at the diagnostic file first.
