I am running a show that is using projection as backgrounds and also as a morning news, it has worked flawlessly for the past 3yrs. However this year I got a new computer that is running Win 7 Enterprise 64 and a Focusrite usb audio interface.
The first part of the week it has been running great like normal but today after updating some system drivers, mainly Ethernet, chipset, and bios, it has decided to give me a red error line with the message "No Audio Device Nominated".
No matter how many times I add any video to new show files that's all i get. The files all play in windows with no tweaks needed or special players and have been working all this week without fail. The audio side of the world works just fine.
Any help is greatly appreciated

Re: Sudden Video Playback Error
Thank you Mike for the quick response, as it turns out I was looking over some general video failure posts on Google and found that K-Lite 996 is not compatible with the video library in SCS at this time.
As it was also the last thing I updated it was the first place I started.
When the video library was set to Movie mode the system returned the "no audio device nominated" error and when the library was switched to VMR it displayed "Error: Rendering File Failed : 262722" message.
Hope this helps anyone that runs into the same problem.
