Repeated hibernation: rehearsals. (Resolved)

I have just compiled FX for john Godber's "Office Party. This includes two separate compilations of continuous 1990's disco music (directly ripped from CD's).
One compilation is used as preshow, inter-scene, interval and postshow. I've hibernated this in between each use.
The second compilation is used for an office party disco in the scene either side of the interval. This also repeatedly hibernates.
No problem for a full run, but during rehearsals the director is jumping forwards and backwards. If I hit the "stop" soft key, the memory of played and hibernated cues is lost. I have to restart from cue 1 and quickly skip through to the director's start point.
I've tried alternatively to activate the "pause" softkey then the "navigation" one to go back, but this still seems to muck up the memory of what has played and is currently hibernated.
Grateful for any tips.

Should work OK - I've just run a test with the latest version of SCS, using ESC while a playlist is hibernating. When I next start the SFR cue that resumes the hibernating cue at the start of the next track, it resumes correctly. Which version of SCS are you using?

Mike. I'm currently using 10.7.7 Grateful for any further tips on the best way to achieve what I want to.

Could you email me your cue file (the .scs file)? I've just run a test here with 10.7.7 and the hibernate / stop all / resume hibernated cue scenario works OK.

The problem Paul mentioned occurs if 'stop all' is pressed while a cue that was hibernating is now playing. 'Stop all' just stops the cue, as it does for all other playing cues, and the repositions the cue list at that cue - it doesn't reset the state to 'hibernating'. Maybe SCS should reset the cue to hibernating - I'm thinking about that. But meanwhile there is a solution which I've emailed Paul and he has confirmed it works well.
In the cue list there were two such cues that could be hibernated: Q1 and Q19. Here is a solution that requires just one hot key cue. See this screenshot for details on how to set up this cue - which I recommend be added to the END of the cue list:

Now if the director calls a pause, then instead of pressing escape you press S to activate this hotkey cue. If Q1 or Q19 is playing at the time, it will be immediately hibernated (note the 'time override for fades' is 0.00), and any other playing cues will be immediately stopped. You can now click on another cue to reposition the cue list as required, and your hibernate cue should remain hibernated, ready for resuming.
The above screenshot is from SCS 10 but a similar solution should work for SCS 11.

Mike & all,
I've used this programmed feature at the last two rehearsals and confirm that it does everything that I need. If the Director requests a "backtrack" I just hit the "S" key, the click on the desired earlier cue in the list and replay with all hibernation effective and capable of subsequent reactivation.
