Latency issues

I'm having a peculiar issue that I've never experienced before. I'm using 10.9.7 with a Delta 1010. I'm using 7 channels for preshow music (2 each for FOH, BOH, & Lobby, and 1 channel for Subwoofer.)
Somehow, the subwoofer is running about 4-5 seconds behind all the other devices for our preshow playlist. However, I'm also using the subwoofer for a thunder cue that is only playing through BOH & Sub and there is no delay.
We have recently had someone rewire our entire amplifier system. Before I tear the entire system apart, I'm just curious if anyone has heard of this issue. And why would it only occur during a playlist? Could it be I'm using so many devices simultaneously?

David,
Could you email me your cue file (the .scsq file) and the relevant Device Map file? The Device Map file will be in the folder "SCS DevMaps" under "Documents" or "My Documents", and will have the same name as the cue file but with an extension of .scsd.
Additionally, please include a screenshot of the SCS Audio Driver Options.
What may be happening is that SCS is running an extra process to downmix a stereo file to mono for the sub. The above info will help me identify the cause.

It may be 24 hours before I can get all the relevant files together, but I will, Mike. Thanks!
(Looking forward to SCS 11, by the way. Loved the video tutorial.)

Mike,
I just sent you the files you requested. Are you still at the same email address?

I've had a similar issue happen a few times. There was latency between channels 1+2 and channel 3 -- but in my case I would say channel 3 was only about 0.5 seconds behind. Restarting the SCS application solved the problem every time.
I was using 10.9.4 with the the M-Audio Fast Track Ultra interface.

I've experienced similar issues across a couple of different 10.x versions on a number of shows. Not always affecting the same cue.
In one case, was during a musical for reasons which I never fully understood, one of the songs was tracked rather than being played by the band. I had a single cue, (stereo file) routed to a variety of monitors on stage as well as my house system. During at least one performance, I noticed that the house system lagged about 4 seconds behind the monitors.
I've also had this occur on a number of dance concerts recently. In this instances the set up was similar but with fewer outputs, only two stereo pairs.
I don't know if this is related, but also during these dance concerts I had instances during which the cue would start, after four seconds, it would seamlessly start over. During this repeating of the top of the cue, the progress indicator for that cue would freeze along with the counters until playback caught back up and would then continue normally.
It actually got me into a bit of trouble.

Any resolution to this?
I have had the same problems since 10.9.
Restarting the cue corrects this, but it sure is embarrassing during a show.

Please try with SCS 11.1.3 or later, and if you have ASIO available then use the
ASIO (using BASS) audio driver.
