Hi,
Just getting started with SCS, having used Multiplay for years in our am-dram group. I'm loving all the MIDI and DMX control possibilities SCS offers
I want to trigger a cue with a midi foot switch, and for it to continue playing whilst the switch is pressed. However, when the switch is released, I want the cue to pause, and then resume again when the switch is pressed and held again. I can achieve play/stop with a 'note' trigger on the audio cue, and I can achieve pause/resume with a note trigger on a SFR cue, but can't work out how to make a cue play/pause with a note trigger. Any ideas??
Thanks
Richard

Interesting idea, but I couldn't work out a way to provide this using the existing functionality.

Thanks Mike. My particular application is for an actor to mime playing a piano. I want the actor to start and stop the backing track themselves on stage, as trying to time it from the back is tricky! Another similar application I can think of is opening and closing a music box, with the music starting and stopping accordingly. It sounds wrong if it starts from the beginning of the track each time.
I'll have a play about and see if I can find a work-around by programming the midi switch to do something clever.
Thanks
Richard
