Help!
I can't get a much needed file to open. I just redid the device map, and everything worked fine. When I tried to open the file again, I got this error:
I tried loading the .bak file by changing the file extension to .scs11, but get the same result the .bak file was dated two days ago.
Any help? This show performs again tonight, and I have to get it working.
Thanks!

Re: File Will Not Open! Error: Not Available
A log file will have been created and saved as a zip file in a folder named "SCS Logs" under "Documents" or "My Documents", and the name of the file includes a time-stamp indicating when the log started. Please email me the relevant zipped log file. (btw, as the program crashed the log file may not have been compressed, in which case the filename extension will be .log).

Re: File Will Not Open! Error: Not Available
Hi Mike
I'm getting a very similar error when transferring from my development computer to a laptop to take to the venue - see attachment with error message. Ended up having to take the big PC along which was a bit of a pain.
Have tried deleting the device map file to force a rebuild but no luck. Have also updated to 11.7.1.1 just in case there was a bug fix for this in the update.
Will e-mail you the log file as you requested the OP to do. Looks like a similar issue and I have not had this before.
Best wishes, David

Re: File Will Not Open! Error: Not Available
Thanks for the quick feedback Mike. I disabled Total Recorder as you indicated this was the problematic device and deleted the device map file and this time was able to create a new device map without any problems. Just in time for my full tech rehearsal today.
