Audio won't play via HDMI

I cannot get a show file to play audio via HDMI. The show has Q1 as a music playlist which accompanies Q2 which is a series of still image sub-cues. The connection (laptop to smart TV) works with other applications (DVD, YouTube, etc.), but not with SCS. Under the "Audio Devices" in the Editor, the only option listed is "Front", with no HDMI or digital output shown. The video plays fine, but the audio continues to run through the laptop speakers or headphone jack, if used. SCS version is 11.6.2.1. Any help is appreciated.
