When SCS11 opens there are 4 progress bars at the bottom of the screen. When a new cue is initiated, the change over from active to next up and so on causes these to move and change colour (as expected) but it can be distracting and cause some screen flutter.
I like to drag the bottom panels top border down so that we only see the top bar - the active one. This makes things a lot smoother.
Is there a way I can setup the program to automatically show only the one bar when a SCS11 Cue List is opened?
I have various playback folks who run the cues at a show and really don't them adjusting the panels at all.

Re: Progress Bars
Have you explored all the display options? You can have different settings in Design and Performance modes. In particular, if you adjust the splitter bar, as you have been, according to the Help file its position will be remembered for the mode you are in. So adjust it in Performance mode, save and make your operators work in that mode.
There are, of course, occasions when it is useful to be reminded of long-running cues that are still playing in the background.

Well I have been diligently searching the display options and documentation hence my post. And, I do agree with you that if one changes the splitter bar - it should be there next time up. But it isn't hence my post
Re: Progress Bars
I've been looking into this a bit more and I see that the splitter bar position is remembered but not saved with the show itself, it is part of the design. On opening an existing show the splitter bar position seems to be picked up from the last show opened, as is the mode. So, if you usually work in Design Mode, in Options change to Performance Mode and OK out. Move the splitter where you want. Close the file. When you re-open the file it will be in Performance Mode with the splitter bar where you have set it. This will also be the case with any other file you open. When the file is open you can switch between Design and Performance and see the bar move, assuming the position is different.
If the file is in Design Mode when closed, the next file to be opened will be in Design Mode so, to avoid confusing your operators, SCS should be closed with a file in Performance Mode. You can lock the options.
I hope I have interpreted the operations correctly. No doubt Mike will correct me if necessary!

Re: Progress Bars
That's correct, Malcolm. Splitter bar positions are saved in the preferences file, which is not production-specific. The splitter bar position in the main window is saved separately for design mode and performance mode, the reason being that during design and test you may want to see more (or less) of the cue panels than you do during live production runs. Note that the preferences file is machine-specific so is used for any SCS usage on that computer.
In SCS 11.7.0 there will be another splitter bar in the main window, this one being a vertical splitter bar between the cue panels and the hot key panel, as the hot key panel will be resizable. The position of this new splitter bar will also be operational mode specific.
