Re: ArtNet
I have looked into ArtNet support but found the protocol fairly complicated in parts. Artistic Licence provided a DLL which looked helpful but that was only provided as a 32-bit DLL. Some time ago I contacted Artistic Licence about this and they informed me that they would not be supplying a 64-bit version. I've just had another look at their web site and I can't even find the 32-bit version now.
I'll have another look at the protocol and try to work out what can reasonably be supported in SCS.

Re: ArtNet
I use a workaround by using a program called Artnet2midi connected to Loopbe1midi in, and SCS connected via midi to Loopbe1 midi out , it works, but i do not really trust using two more programs in the background.
It also has some latency, so i have more program work to get it right for dance performances. (i have to advance the sound cue 100 msec in Chamsys to be on spot with the lights)
So if you can implement it in SCS it would be much easier and safer.

Re: ArtNet
Not yet, but it's still on the radar. I've purchased an ENTTEC ODE MK2 with plans to implement at least ESP and Art-Net. Probably ESP first as it seems a simpler protocol, but the ESP protocol does have some similarities to Art-Net.derick wrote:Any news on Artnet implementation ?

Re: ArtNet
sACN is the preferred protocol these days although most devices support both.

Re: ArtNet
It's still on my 'to do list'. I have an ENTTEC ODE Mk2 but my earlier attempts at getting SCS to communicate with this were not successful. I'll revisit this when I've completed some other enhancements.
