If you are trying to use an ENTTEC OPEN DMX USB interface for Lighting Cues then you may have had issues with (a) the fixtures not holding their DMX values, and/or (b) fades flickering. Both of these issues will be fixed in SCS 11.6.1 and a pre-release version is available now, so let me know if you'd like this.
The main change is that when setting up a Lighting Device in Production Properties and selecting ENTTEC OPEN DMX USB or equivalent as the device then SCS will display a 'DMX Refresh Rate' with a default value of 40fps (frames per second). SCS will now constantly refresh DMX values sent to such an interface, in time with the specified refresh rate, and any fades required will be integrated with this refreshing.
Note that these issues only affected the OPEN DMX USB or equivalent interfaces. The ENTTEC DMX USB PRO and DMX USB PRO MK2 do not require SCS to constantly refresh DMX as the drivers for these interfaces handle the refreshing.
