Subcue Doesn't Fire in 9.2.2

Post by MarcD » Sun Jul 23, 2006 11:36 pm

Hi there, I have a problem I hope someone can help me with.

I've created a level-changing subcue, to change levels on two different channels. I think I've set everything up properly, and the test works as expected, but when I fire the cue, the sub-cue 1 fires normally, but the level-changing cue immediately shows as being "Completed" and no change in levels occurs.

Marc.

Marc,

Can you email me your cue file, ie the *.scs file?

Erm, it works now....

Actually, I just got back from rehearsal and it seems to work now. I did find I had problems when I put in a relative start time for a sub cue. I found that sometimes it also filled in that same time on the first sub cue, which also messed things up. I suspect it happened because I was filling in a relative time to start the sub cue before picking the cue to modify, but I can't swear to that because I don't think I can replicate the bug (and don't want to until the show's run is done :-) ).

SCS was behaving very badly for a while today, but I suspect that a lot of my problems were arising from a different program that seems to have a memory leak.

Thanks for checking in on the post, and I wish I could be more certain about the source of the problem.

Marc
