Hi
I am using SCS Pro v.11.5.3 (x64) on an HP ProBook 470 G4, i7 CPU and 16GB RAM and Windows 10 Pro, Anniversary edition.
The software is great and worked perfectly until I installed a Targus docking station yesterday which requires a DisplayLink driver. Now, whenever I dock the laptop and try to open SCS, the splash screen shows 'Initializing' and goes no further. There is no way that I can abort the SCS startup, even using 'End Task' from Task Manager has no effect.
The laptop doesn't lock up as I can still run other programs but the SCS process remains at the splash screen.
If I start SCS before I connect the docking station (single USB 3.0 cable), the software initialises properly and I can subsequently plug in the docking station. Everything then works great.
I haven't reported this as an SCS bug as it probably isn't. I am just hoping you might be able to point me at a solution that doesn't mean unplugging the docking station every time I want to use SCS.
Thanks
Rob
