Licensing question

Post by saxman1815 » Sat Feb 04, 2017 4:58 am

I'm a bit confused about the licensing. Are these yearly licenses that have to be renewed each year? Or are they one-time purchases (aside from upgrades, obviously).

Thank you!

From my experience, licensing is permanent. You pay a yearly fee to renew your ability to install new updates.

That's correct. When you purchase an SCS license this entitles you to free downloads of any new versions released in the next 12 months. After the 12 months you can keep using the version you have for as long as you like, but if you want to upgrade to a version released after the end of the 12 months then you will need to purchase a 12-month update plan, which costs 20% of the current price of the licence level you have purchased.
