Occasionally, an auto-start sound cue will simply fail to fire. It may play fine the next time and the next, but eventually it will fail again. It doesn't seem to matter if it's an "after start of" or "before end of", etc. cue.
This problem has occurred randomly for several years, but it happens rarely enough that I haven't bothered to post about it. But it happened tonight for the first time during dress rehearsal for my current show. I was able to get it started, but it was a delay of several seconds and I'd rather not have happen during the show:
I can't be certain, but I believe this only happens with looped sound cues. So I'm wondering if this is a known thing and if there's anything I can do to make it less likely to happen?
Thanks!

Neil,
I've emailed you details of a tracing version to run.
