I have been working on a show that needs 3 video outputs and have been getting 3 nice previews when running video or image files. Suddenly, though, I'm now not getting the previews. The files play quite happily, but I can't see what they're outputting without connecting up 3 monitors, which I don't have yet (I will have for the show, obviously, but am juet setting up the show file at the moment).
Any idea where they've gone? I'm in Design Mode BTW.

Re: Lost previews
Could you email me a diagnostic file? You can create this file by starting SCS and selecting 'Create Diagnostic File' from the drop-down menu displayed when you click the Help button in the main window. The file will be saved in a folder named "SCS Diagnostics" under "Documents" or "My Documents".

Re: Lost previews
Thanks for the Diagnostic file. What happened was that the location of the preview windows has been incorrectly saved in the SCS Preferences file. To reset this preference setting, hold down a shift key while you start SCS and you will see the 'Special Start' window. Select the checkbox 'Clear saved window positions and sizes' and then click OK. You should now see your previews.
See Special Start Requirements in the Help for more info.
I note that you are using SCS 11.2.3. You should find this issue fixed in the latest version, 11.3.8, which you may download from the Members' Area of our web site.
