Hello,
For a memorial service I would like to have a large number of pictures displayed randomly.
I cannot find if this is possible with SCS.
With audio files I can but in the slide show there is no random option.
or does anybody has an alternative, with lots of transition options.
many thanks

You could make each picture a separate cue that is triggered by a hot key.
Re: Play Picture Randomly
Hello Eric,
I'm afraid this is not an option. With 50+ pictures I would run out of keys on my qwerty keyboard, and apart from that it would
require me to press a random key every 10 seconds, I don't think I'll last 5 minutes
I think I may have found a solution. I have found a script wich renames all the files in a specific folder, with random numbers.
So when I aply this to the folder with all the pictures and then import them into SCS. they will be in random order.

Yeah but why try and do this with SCS?
There are loads of image management and viewer applications out there that would allow you to do this. For example I often use ACDsee at events for spontaneous slideshow loops of photos taken at awards shows, conferences etc.: fades, dissolves, subtle zoom/pans and random stuff. I'm sure Picassa (free!) can take care of this too. Later versions of Powerpoint can do this at a pinch. I bet there are loads of other cheapo/freebie options. You could even try getting jiggy with simple editing apps like WMM.
