Hello.
I'm running 10.9.2 and have an AVI file I'm trying to loop continuously during a cue. When playing back the cue, the first time through, the video file plays till end, then the image freezes for the length of the second playthrough, and then all subsequent playthroughs are fine. Has anyone seen this before, is this a known bug, or more likely, am I doing something very wrong?

Re: Video Looping issue
I've run a few tests of this and it looped correctly everytime, with all 'video playback' options. Which video playback option are you using (DirectShow, SCSMM or xVideo)? Have you tried the test with a different video playback option?
You could try 'converting' the file with the NCH Prism Video Converter. You can 'convert' your avi file to another avi file - that often cleans up the file. See if that makes any difference.

Using xVideo for cross fading still images elsewhere in the show. My AVI files were transcoded from Quicktime in Adobe After Effects. Most of my "video" cues are either still images, or single play AVI files, this is only looping video.

And just by starting this thread, the problem video played correctly tonight. Did not change anything.

Re: Video Looping issue
You only need xVideo for fades if you want fades on video files - SCS will implement fades on still images (.jpg's etc) with any of the video playback options.
