Interesting to note that, whilst the "Go" button is frozen off, the "Print" button appears to be frozen on, and the Next Manual Cue indication is missing. Did the freeze happen at Q43 the first time?
When I encounter odd behaviour (admittedly not recently) one of my first actions is to reinstall SCS in case it has become corrupted somehow, assuming you have the download saved somewhere.

Has this particular show played through without problems previously? What version of SCS are you running?

The "Go" button is disabled because Q49 is "Not Loaded". The reason it is not loaded is probably because you are running several cues back-to-back, and SCS generally will not load an audio file cue while another audio file cue is currently playing. This is to avoid the possibility of sound breaking up during loading another file. (I have made some changes in that area, so which version of SCS are you running?)

The solution is to increase the "Max. No. of Audio Files to Pre-Open", which is under General Options / Permanent Options. SCS opens audio files when no other audio files are playing, so by increasing this setting you are allowing SCS to look further ahead in the cue list. The maximum setting is 50.

The point about the "Print" button being highlighted is just a minor timing issue. When the mouse hovers over one of these buttons, the button is highlighted. Sometimes the button remains highlighted after you've moved the mouse away from the button. I haven't worked out why, and it doesn't affect the run.

Hi mike, im using 10.7.6 iv been running scs on this laptop for years with never any prob. Ill up the amount of preloads an see if that helps.
I did notice as i was loading in the tracks in it took about 20 sec before it would be ready to add another cue in. Each track is about 3 mins in lenth.WAV format.

That's strange. Let me know when you've finished this show and I'll send you details of a trace version to see if we can find out why it takes so long.

When was the last time you cleaned up the laptop's hard drive, archived and removed any old shows and defragmented? Do you do this regularly? I ask because you stated that you've been using this laptop for years.
