Video Image Problem (solved)

Post by davidbrown14 » Tue Jun 01, 2010 11:35 am

I am having a problem with a video image cue.

Using 10.7.0 RC3

Cue 16 is an audio cue, and also has a video sub-cue starting an image. It is set to continuous.
Cue 17 is an audio cue, start to auto-start after Cue 16 has finished.

But it doesn't start. After Cue 16 finishes, the video sub-cue is still there marked as playing, but Cue 17 doesn't start. Cue 17 isn't even the Next Manual Cue, Cue 18 is. So, if I hit Go, Cue 18 starts

Also, a question. Is there a way to stop the video sub-cue in a few more cues?

David

Your image subcue in cue 16 doesn't stop just because the audio subcue completed, so that's why the image subcue keeps playing.

What you need to do is this:
  • Make the image subcue of cue 16 a new cue (click the left arrow in the toolbar on the left of the Editor's cue list). For this example, you might like to set the cue number to 16A.
  • Set cue 16A to auto-start 0.00 seconds after the start of cue 16.
  • In cue 17, and an SFR subcue to stop or fadeout cue 16A.

Sorry for the late reply. Was doing the show.

That did the trick. After I did the post I thought I might have to make the image its own cue instead of a sub-cue.

Thanks.
