Hi Guys,
My version 10.6.1 suddenly won't launch on my PC at home, it's been faultless till now and nothing's changed as far as I know. It displays an error 'Impossible to record becuase audion input is not connected' at the start but this window is something I can click OK to. It then gets as far as the splash screen showing 'loading...' and hangs up. It's trying to load the SCS demo file. I have the two screen shots saved if this is of any help...and I've tried uninstalling and re-installing a new download but with no success. Any help appreciated. Regards, Adrian.

Re: SCS won't launch and 'stops responding'
A couple of suggestions:
- Try holding down the LEFT CTRL key while you start SCS. This causes SCS to bypass opening the last-used cue file, so you start with no cue file open.
- If that doesn't help, the error may be an ASIO-related problem. Try holding down the RIGHT CTRL key while you start SCS. This causes SCS to bypass checking for ASIO devices, which also means it will not access the ASIO initialization routine. Does this make any difference?

Re: SCS won't launch and 'stops responding'
Hi Mike, Yes. That sorted it! (right control) I've now set the permanent option to 'ignore ASIO' and it launches perfectly. Does this suggest some sort of problem with the PC? To be honest, this machine is only ever used for throwing shows together and never 'in battle' so as long as it's functional I don't have a problem. Regards, Adrian
