I'm located in Bristol (UK).
Although I have been using SCS for a while, I'm convinced that I'm not using it to anywhere near what it's capable of. Is there anyone within striking distance (Say Brum/South Coast/South Wales/Reading-ish, well that sort of area anyway) who would be prepared to meet & generally 'chew the fat' over how we're using SCS and what can actually be achieved.
Regards

silly question but what are you actually trying to achieve? or do you just want to know how other people are using SCS?

If you're looking for a new group of beer-drinking buddies whom you can periodically meet with and talk shop, that's definitely a valid request ...
But if you're looking for info on the types of cool things you can do with SCS, then I suspect the global forum will be much more informative.
Mike, would it make sense to create a third forum on the "Cool Things To Do with SCS", where people can post tips and tricks, and explain and/or brag about elaborate programs they've designed?

Good idea, John. This could take the place of the 'showcase' that I'd been planning. I'll set up another forum when I've worked out what to put in an introductory posting.jkowtko wrote:Mike, would it make sense to create a third forum on the "Cool Things To Do with SCS", where people can post tips and tricks, and explain and/or brag about elaborate programs they've designed?

The new "Tricks, Tips and Cool Things to do with SCS" Forum is now available.
Regarding Soundman's original request, I do suggest anyone near Bristol get in touch with Soundman by PM to arrange an informal meeting over a beer or coffee, because just talking over how you use SCS can be helpful to both parties.
