Fonts Issue with Non English Languages

Post by Fanis Tsirakis » Mon Oct 20, 2008 10:47 pm

I purchased version 10 today, installed it, and with big disappointment I realized that the fonts in the cue panels are not showing correctly, ("description" and "when required" titles) when I use my native language.
I had no problem with version 8 that I was using until now, so I guess it’s a different kind of fonts thing.
Is there a way of changing the fonts used in the cue panels??
p.s . My Non-Unicode setting is set to Greek, if that matters.

Thanks

The main font used in the cue panels in SCS 10 is Arial. In SCS 8 the font used was MS Sans Serif, but a problem with that font is that it does not scale up very well. There are still places in SCS 10 where MS Sans Serif is used (because that is the default font in the development platform I use), but generally I have been changing to Arial.

Is Arial not installed on your computer? One way to check is to open a program like Notepad or MS Word and select a font.

Arial is installed, I checked.
Perhaps it has something to do with the encoding?

Can you email me a sceenshot of what you see? To do a screen shot, press Alt/PrtScr while the SCS main screen is displayed. That will copy the window image to the Windows clipboard. I then suggest you open the Paint program or something similar, paste into that program and then save the image as a JPG file. Then attach the JPG file to an email.
