I'm running ver 10.1.2 but having issues with video files.
When configured for a single screen, the .avi file runs fine in the preview window and also in the editor test window.
When I configure for two screens ( which is how I normally run my desktop), I see no preview window on the main cue list. The option to select screen 2 in the editor test window is available but when selsected, there is no output on the 2nd screen.
I have unchecked the "Turn on DirectX Video Acceleration " box in Windows Media Player 11as suggested in another item.
Video card : NVIDIA Quadro NVS
Any ideas please?
No video on 2nd screen (fix in 10.1.3)

Re: No video on 2nd screen
Look down the page a few postings. I had the same problem. I sent Mike my .scs file and he suggested that I revert to 10.1.0 (he thought the problem might be in having two videos ready at the same time). I am now using 10.1.0 and all is good. Everything is doing what it is supposed to.
Give it a shot. Nothing to loose.

Re: No video on 2nd screen
Thanks for the advice. I tried running 10.1.0 but had the same results.
However, I noticed that the video output always goes to Screen 1 ( ie the primary screen - the one with the windows taskbar) despite screen 2 being selected for preview in the editor.
I can "sort-of" run the system by dragging the SCS main window to screen 2 but the downside is that if I right-click in the non-window area of screen 2, the Windows task bar pops up on screen 1 with the video output.
I've tried re-assigning the window identities but the problem remains - that is the video output always displays on the primary screen.

Re: No video on 2nd screen
I have found this will occur if the second display is setup as an extension of the desktop to the left instead of to the right. A fix is now ready for 10.1.3.
