New warning message in 10.1.2 (fix in 10.1.3)

Post by Martin » Fri Aug 29, 2008 7:12 pm

The new warning message for "orphan" manual cues is fine for SFR cues but does not seem to work for Level Change cues.

Oops! It was working before I changed the processing of the SFR warning. Fix ready for 10.1.3.

On a 1280 x 1024 display the warning label wraps to two lines, the second of which is partly obscured by the Windows task bar.

Perhaps an additional fix for 10.1.3 ?

What cue labels do you have, Malcolm? I checked 1280 x 1024 with labels like Q3 and Q4 and the message doesn't wrap, but it is getting close to the maximum width. Could you email me a screen shot?

Edit: I've reproduced the wrapping by using longer cue labels. Fix ready for 10.1.3, tested on all standard screen sizes from 1024x768 to 1920x1200. I've slightly changed the wording, removing one of the cue label references, and if the message is still too wide then the word 'warning!' is removed from the start of the message.
