There is something not quite right with the new loop processing in 10.1. The ability to create loops easily, quickly and (up to now) accurately, is one of the most useful SCS functions and I use them a lot. Under 10.1.0, loops that previously worked perfectly every time no longer do so. Even with newly created ones the loop point sometimes varies.
I know that Mike has changed the way SCS processes loops to accommodate the requirement for cross-fading but I for one would happily sacrifice this new option if we could have the old looping precision back again.
Mike - This is much easier to demonstrate than it is to describe in words so I’ll send you my .scs test files (one under 9.5.2 and the other 10.1.0) together with a .wav file which shows up the problem very well.
