Delta 1010LT

Post by Boswell » Wed May 07, 2008 1:59 am

Is anyone using a MAudio Delta 1010LT with SCS, any problems? my only concern is that the 1010 says it is ASIO and SCS does not do ASIO yet.
I need to get 4 stereo output channels

Hi,

I have used both Delta 1010 and 1010LT without problems on SCS9. The 1010's support both ASIO and WDM Windows driver models which work fine with SCS 9. ASIO support is also on the way with V10 of SCS.

Mark.

I've been using SCS with a Delta 1010LT card since January. The card has been flawless for three productions.

I hate to be the "Voice of Doom", but I ran into a guy who has three 1010s (the regular one, not the LT) and he's had two go bad on him. Now the bad news - he said they gave him no warning in either case. No burning smell; no overheating - they just stop working.
He talked to the service rep, each time, and all he could get out of them was 'It's a known problem' and they repaired them (each time) and sent them back.
The only reason I mention this is so that you folks, using the 1010 box, might want to start carrying some backup box in case the 1010 goes out at a performance.

Used a 1010LT for three years, no issues, no problems!
About to buy another one for our second system! :D

I've done 2 shows since installing the 1010lt in the system at the theater in April. Both ran flawless.
