I'm also wondering about ASIO support.
I have a 4ch USB device (Novation Nio) but I need ASIO to be able to use all four channels. Three problems:
1) I'd like to buy SCS but don't want to buy v9 and then have to buy again when v10 comes out to gain the 3rd and 4th channels
2) I'd be happy with a Pro license but not happy to have to buy Pro Plus just to get 4 channels, which if it wasn't for needing ASIO I couuld get with the Standard version.
3) Currently I can't see any information about when v10 might be coming out.
So far you're putting me off buying at all - surely not the intention!

Re: ADAT Soundcards/devices
OK, let's clear some things up!
The pricing policy is that when you purchase SCS you are entitled to free updates for 12 months, and that includes upgrdaing to a new major version. So if you purchase SCS 9 now you will be able to upgrade to SCS 10 at no additional cost. I will post a new topic regarding an 'update plan' for users who have had SCS 9 for more than 12 months.
Since ASIO drivers are becoming more common I have relented on the Professional Plus requirement and ASIO is now available in SCS 10 for SCS Professional users as well as Professional Plus users.
SCS 10 is currently in beta test and I am hoping to issue the program on general release sometime in July - may be even in late June.

Re: ADAT Soundcards/devices
Mike,
Thanks for the quick response and the great news.
I'd like to get into SCS as soon as possible so the ability to buy the current version and then upgrade is very welcome. Also good news on having ASIO in Pro as well as Pro Plus.
Good news also on the timing of v10. It'll miss my current show but still great news it will be available so soon.
Thanks again
Barny
