SCS 9.4.6 at 1680x1050 screen resolution (in 10.1.0)

I've searched for posts regarding SCS display at various screen resolutions, but didn't see anything recent.

I'm running 9.4.6.

I've just purchased a new monitor (flat screen LCD, 22 inch diag., widescreen) and I'm running at the maximum native resolution of 1680 x 1050, using normal size fonts (96 DPI).

I can re-scale the cue list (top half of the screen) to a reasonable size, but the cue details (bottom half of the screen) is unusually large. I would have expected it to be smaller at higher resolution, but it seems to have "over compensated". I would have expected more information to fit, given the higher resolution and larger screen size.

I was using 1024 x 768 resolution prior to setting up the new monitor, and everything seemed appropriately scaled. Are there options in the program that can be used to adjust the display to optimize for a larger screen at higher resolution?

Here is a screen capture:

Each of the cue "sections" on the bottom half of the screen measure a full 1.25 inches high. I'm thinking that more of these should fit in the alloted screen "real estate".

Of course, this is a mere nit. The program functions just fine -- thanks for a great product!

I'll have a look into providing a scaling option as users are getting larger screens.

I'm also running SCS on a system with a 20" widescreen display at 1680X1050. Is there a way to start SCS such that it comes up un-maximized (i.e. normal window) and remembers where the window is placed on the screen?

SCS 10 will include options to resize the cue panels as well as other display options. Window sizes and positions will also be remembered between sessions. In the Run Screen (the main window) there will be some additional information shown in displays wider than 1024 pixels (which should include all wide screen displays).

Mike,

Don't forget the scalling to be able to go the other way - i.e. for smaller screens! hint - 800x480!

Cheers!
