Default Devices and Levels setting in 9.5.0

Post by jmgordon » Fri Jan 18, 2008 3:35 am

I think I have identified a bug in SCS 9.5.0 regarding the "Default Devices and Levels for New Audio File Cues" setting in Production Properties. With a new file for me this defaults to Device 1 as FOH with Level -3.0dB, the remaining devices being blank at -96.0dB.

In a show I was creating today I realised that in some of the cues (but not all) the blank devices were showing at level 0.0dB. To correct this, in each affected cue I selected FOH for each device, dragged the slider back to -96.0dB and deselected again. This condition then stuck for the rest of the session. However, after saving and closing then re-opening, ALL the cues reverted to the unused devices showing at level 0.0dB whilst the Production Properties show -96.0dB.

I don't recall noticing this in 9.4.6.

Yes, that is a bug. I'll fix it in the next release. Apart from the inconsistency in what you see in the Editor, this will have no affect on productions as the 0.0dB setting is on unused devices.
