errors trying to run SCS on desktop but not on laptop

Post by sakkyoku » Sat Jul 14, 2007 8:24 am

I've had no problems with SCS on my laptop...love it. But when I try to run it on my desktop I get errors.

At first I was getting Runtime Error 9: Subscript out of range, then I tried reinstalling several times, and even tried an older version...same problem.

This last time I uninstalled the program, restarted, downloaded the program again, reinstalled, restarted before opening it (just in case), and now I got a different error: "error invalid handle can't play silence" then the program starts to open and then gives me the "error 9 subscript" thing. It's letting me get farther but I still can't even open a file before SCS shuts down.

Both computers are fully updated XP machines. Both using my MOTU traveler.

Any ideas?

BTW, can't wait for ASIO functionality.

All I had to do was enable the onboard sound in the BIOS and install the audio drivers. It works now. Thanks for your help, Mike.
