Audio from Video won't go to Dante via DVS with ASIO

Essentially title.

With DVS set to ASIO, I have no issues with audio files getting to Dante. However, audio from video files will not go to the Dante network unless I switch DVS and SCS to Direct Sound (audio from video plays from internal speaker on our computer instead). DVS also feeds Waves Tracks Live (ASIO only), so this becomes a major problem.

Unfortunately the video playback libraries currently available with SCS (mainly TVideoGrabber, or 'TVG') do not support ASIO devices. However, this may change soon as I'm evaluating linking to an alternative video playback system that does support ASIO outputs.

What is the status of this problem?
I have now changed my desk system to a Yamaha Rivage PM5 and only work internally with Dante.
A Yamaha Dante accelerator card is now in my SCS computer. The card's drivers only offer ASIO support. How can I assign a Dante output to the video output in SCS?

The ASIO option I was considering for video playback was by implementing support for vMix. I got that working fairly well, but there are some practical issues that limit the usability of vMix with SCS. However, I'm willing to revisit this - I still have all the code in place to support the interface. There's also a possibility that I can pass the TVG audio to the BASS ASIO library, but I would need to check that this will perform glitch-free and with perfect timing.

That would be great. I am currently examining the possibility of using an extra USB-> Dante interface, Dante AVIO USB IO Adapter 2x2, in the hope that this will also offer WDM drivers. A test with the Dante Virtual Soundcard was not satisfactory. The handling with the DVS is also very cumbersome and I did not get a signal either, although the desk recognized and integrated the DVS.

Just wanted to ask whats the status of this issue?
I ran into this on our system today.
Switching the DVS to WDM makes that the DVS appear in die Video Audio Output but i can't apply the changes.
At the Moment we are on 11.9.3

We don't currently have a solution to this but it is on the list of things to look at in the near future.

Voicemeter Banana shows up in the list of direct sound drivers for the video. this allows you to route to any output device.
This includes ASIO, MME, KS , WDM etc I don't have a Dante device but I'm sure it will show up in the list of ASIO devices.

I'm not very happy to put another software thingy in the chain but i will test it.
But it would be really great to get ASIO as Videooutput in SCS when its necessary to use it with Dante. Because i think Dante-Enviroments (or AV over IP in general) will grow in fixed-installations like theatres, etc.

The video playback library we use (TVideoGrabber, or 'TVG') still does not support ASIO devices. We have been looking for an alternative video playback library for this and other reasons, but none of the others we have reviewed support more than a single display. SCS supports multiple displays per video cue, and this includes the small monitor window on the primary screen.

We have also tried passing the audio from TVG to the BASS ASIO library, but need to do more work on this. Keeping sync between two separate libraries is an issue.
