x32 Cue Control cannot be activated error

Post by msinklair » Thu Nov 30, 2023 5:38 am

When I load an existing cue file that was using cue control from the X32 I get an error.

CUE CONTROL
* Network In device 'server:port=192.7.29.92:10023' cannot be activated

To get it to work, I have to review the device map and make the cue control a dummy connection. I then have to send a command to the X32 from my cue file. Sometimes that will fail a few times. After it is successful, I can then un-dummy my network in and it connects and works fine. If I save the cue file with it dummy'd, then I can load without error. I still have to send a command, until it succeeds, before I un-dummy.

Any thoughts on this?

Can you send a description of the problem and a log file from a run with the problem to support@showcuesystems.com
The log file can be found in your documents\scs logs folder.
If you send several logs please label them or let us know in the email detail for that run, thank you.

I was able to finally send the email. I'm sorry it took longer than expected to get to it.
