I have SCS 11.4.2.3 installed on a Microsoft Surface Pro 4 laptop. Despite trying every SCS audio option, the MS Surface will not output audio to the headphones socket or to the USB port when playing tracks via SCS. All other audio apps on the PC are working perfectly on the main MS Surface speakers, the headset jack and via USB (apps include Windows sounds, VLC, Windows Media Player, Chrome, Firefox, Audacity etc etc). I have tried several headsets with the same results.
I have followed several guides to ensure that the headset port is enabled (it works on every other app!) and set the headphones as the default sound device. The Windows troubleshooter has not detected any problems. I have no problem when playing SCS on other PCs. I installed SCS 11.9.8 (demo version) and the audio problem on the MS Surface remains.
The PC is a MS Surface Pro 4 with all drivers fully updated to the lastest available updates
Device name DESKTOP-PJET06V
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-6300U CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.50 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB
Device ID B3033779-2751-4A00-A2E7-9F74A43B813F
Product ID 00330-62878-97130-AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch Pen and touch support with 10 touch points
Windows 10, version 22H2. Latest update KB6026361
Everything therefore points to the issue being a compatibility problem between the MS Surface and SCS. I have, I think, tested SCS with every one of its audio options turned on or turned off. This includes testing the option for WASAPI on/off within the demo version (a new option since 11.4.2.3).
Does anyone have any suggestions that might resolve this frustrating issue?
Many thanks in advance.

Re: Microsoft Surface Pro - audio out problem
Please email me a relevant SCS log file. Log files are created and saved in a folder named "SCS Logs" under "Documents", and the name of each file includes a time-stamp indicating when the log started.
