Do Action On Completion Of Audio Track

Post by rcscsuk » Mon Nov 07, 2022 6:10 pm

Hi,
Just setting up my first live show using SCS - a dance show.
For each dance there is a audio track + two images/videos for projection. So each cue has 3 elements.
Ideally I would like the images to fade out automatically as the audio track ends.
If there a way to do this ?
Currently I am setting the 'run time' of the images to be the same as the runtime of the audio track - which does what I want - but that seems a bit fiddly for lots of cues - is there a better way ?

Set a SFR cue to be started at end of audio cue and set it to fade-out the images cue.

You could even set the SFR cue to fire automatically before the end of previous cue so as to get a smooth coordinated transition.

For even more flexability set the SFR cue up to act on cue marker within your audio track. That way you can move the precise timeing of the video fade easily and match it against the wave form.

Let me knpow if you want me to send you an example file.

Thanks for the replies.
I added a cue marker at the end of the audio track, as suggested, with a SFR cue to fade all - this does the trick.

One thing I noticed was that if at set the CM as close to the end of the audio track as possible (I think 0.02 seconds is the closest it will let you put the CM to the end of the track) the CM/SFR would not always 'fire' on reaching it.
To get it to work consistantly I set the CM 0.25 seconds before the end of the audio track - this has worked every time.
