[Resolved] Image (.jpg) - Full Screen Display

Post by Dave Jenkins » Sat Mar 05, 2022 10:20 am

We have a .jpg file that we need to display on our projector, which is connected to Windows 11 using a Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter. Once we've located the file using Explorer and double click it, it completely fills the screen horizontally. In our particular case, we want the image to fill the screen similarly when displaying it using SCS.

However, when we display the image in SCS, we seem not to be able to get the projected version to fill the screen horizontally. We have tried the Full Screen aspect setting, but it seemed to make no difference in the projected output.

We have also tried setting Size to 200% (maximum) but that appeared to make no difference. I feel like we're missing something basic that will allow us to fill the screen horizontally.

(We would also like to understand better how changes in the Size setting interact with Aspect settings. For example: If we have selected the Full Screen Aspect setting, should we expect the Size setting to have any effect?)

The log files we have from this PM's testing are apparently too large for submitting with the BB post - I will try to send them separately via email.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Resolved. Dave reported it was due to "improper resolution settings in Windows for the second display".
