Playback 2 sets of audio files in sync

I am looking at a potentially doing a musical (Mary Poppins Jr) with very little rehearsal time, and the MTI provided backing tracks. As we have both backing tracks and vocal guide tracks I am considering the possibility of playing back both sets of audio in sync, backing to FOH and guide could be faded into foldback if they were getting stuck.

Is this a practical option (assuming I have enough outputs on the PC?).

This is possible if the audio files are set to play for exactly the same duration, and start at the same time. SCS will then link the files in the audio playback library. See Linked Files in the Help for details.
