Looping a .wav

Post by Mark Harrington » Thu Feb 06, 2020 10:04 pm

Hi,

I'm fairly new to SCS and have a show at the moment that includes some .wav files. For some reason I seem to be able play them fine and to edit start, stop and fades but all of the loop buttons are greyed out. If I convert them to mp3 they come back to life.

Just wondering if this is due to setting that I have missed somewhere?

Thanks
Mark

This was probably due to your .wav file having an embedded cue point, which will have been removed when you converted the file to ,mp3 format. SCS should have allowed for this and I've emailed you a link to a pre-release of SCS 11.8.2.2 which corrects this bug.

Thanks so much for your quick response and update Mike.

That's sorted it!
