[In 11.8.1] Changes to SCS Memo Cues
Do you use Memo Cues in SCS, with Memos being displayed in a pop-up window on the primary screen? If so, please contact me as there are some issues with how this pop-up display is handled, and I'm considering changes to address these issues and would like your opinion.
Re: Changes to SCS Memo Cues
I use memo cues in a simple way.
At the beginning of a 20 min interval, when you run the last cue of Act 1, I display an almost full screen yellow background Memo with the text INTERVAL.
This is displayed for 15 mins.
When it disappears the operator knows it's time to put the cans on and get ready for act 2.

Re: Changes to SCS Memo Cues
Although you may only be using a single Memo cue, that is still relevant regarding my inquiry. If you have a log file from a run in which the Memo cue is run, can you email me the log file?Boswell wrote: ↑Thu Feb 07, 2019 6:06 pmI use memo cues in a simple way.

Re: Changes to SCS Memo Cues
Thanks to all those who sent me info and preferences regarding Memo cues. Although some users just want a simple interface with minimal options, other users want at least as much flexibility as is currently provided.
Davide Bellucci (who created the videos available on the SCS Videos page) came up with an interesting suggestion: "The most effective way I see the Memo Cue displayed is in the Main Window as it happens with the HotKey Box. Memo Cues would then be resized by height changing the Cue List height and by width moving their column width. Please see picture for a hint of my idea."
Any further comments welcome.

Lluís, that may be a simpler solution as it treats the primary screen as a split-screen.

Yes, it is a great idea, I never thought to use split screen to place memo cues.
