Re: "Skip" during Playback
Sorry, I'm on 10.3.1 (Build 2008/12/18). I tried turning off the Internal Mixer as the Help suggests but didn't see any positive results--it got worse. I am using "Preload whole file" on a few of my HotKey cues--my thoughts were that they needed to be "instantly available". Is this wrong? (We have a...

"Skip" during Playback
Our show opens tonight, and I'm having trouble fixing an issue. When the song starts, it will "skip" about a half-second after a few seconds of the file playing. It only skips once and it kind of sounds like a CD or record skip--to give you an idea. I've read the Help and tried changing some setting...

Re: Problem with Audio Files being renamed
2 Things: 1. This problem happened before I knew the Production Folder option even existed--so I wasn't using that "feature". (See my post on "It would be nice to have everything stored in 1 place...") 2. "Track 01" (etc.) was the original name of the songs on the "Unknown Album" that was ripped by ...

Problem with Audio Files being renamed (mod in 10.3.2)
After upgrading SCS to 10.3.x, I have noticed (twice) that when I launch the app, I get an error that the Audio Files are missing and it gives me the option to locate them. When I go into the folder to find them, instead of the file being the original name, it is now called something like "01 Track ...

Toggle option for Hot Keys (in 10.5.0)
For a sound cue that should continue on forever (a phone ring, for example) that happens frequently enough that it doesn't make sense to add into the cue list, it would be nice if you could add the option to have the Hot Key cue be a "toggle" on or off. So, when the phone is supposed to ring, you wo...

Option to create a "Show Library" Folder (already available)
I'm using Windows Vista and I have ripped a few of the CDs of songs/sounds onto my Laptop using Windows Media Player. As most of you may know, any ripped CDs are automatically placed into a directory/folder inside of the "Music" directory/folder within your User Profile. In addition to the stuff I'v...

Re: Burn Cues to Audio Disk
I agree with Denver, having a "good" backup in hand (and an archive to go back to, if needed) would be handy. If your PC crashed, then all you would need to do is load SCS on another PC, pop in the CD or Thumb Drive and do a "Show Import" of sorts. As I was typing a new feature request, I also thoug...

Re: Hot Key Problem
Anyone know when 10.3.1 will be released? I have a show coming up next week and I want the sound to (finally) go smoothly for this show. We've always had sound issues in the past trying to use a CD--this program is wonderful! Especially from a lighting guy like me--this reminds me of programming lig...
