Extra field - Script page number
A simple addition that I think would save time, in particular at rehearsals, would be another column on the cue list for the Script Page Number When rehearsals start, using cue numbers is frequently a lost cause because;- 1 Que numbers get changed as additions are made, pages are set in stone. 2 Cas...

Sub Cue "Relative start time" change
Would it be possible to make the operation of delayed sub cues simply compare the their start time with the main cue elapsed time, and then be initiated when the sub-cue start time exceed the elapsed time? At present it seems they run their own independent count down. I ask this because most of my u...

Confused Output Assignments
I seem to have developed a problem with the sound card assignments. I suspect this may have happened before I changed the hardware option to "SCS computers have different hardware" I also suspect that it was triggered when I copied a modified version of the SCS file back from my laptop to the PC. My...

Re: Tempo Changes
Hi Mike May I add my voice to the "Keep it Solid" sentiments of Boswell. I have just compared system CPU usage between V9 and V10. This is a long way from being a cast iron test I know, but on my PC it seems that this is significantly higher on V10 when doing identical tasks. Background rises from a...

Re: Global 'level trim' edit function
Hi John - If you are doing this during an Editing session, because you originally set all of the cue levels too high in the program, then I agree a single operation that would adjust all cue levels in your program by the same amount would be handy. This was the big issue for me. Having entered some ...

Re: Clicks when playing multiple cues.
Hi Mike The buffers are both set to 500mS. I presume these values were imported when I upgraded from 9 to 10. i am not too worried, as the show computer works fine. I know that I probably have too many things going on on home PC, but i have to share it with my partner if I'm to be allowed to 'play' ...

Re: Global 'level trim' edit function
Hi John Whilst I agree with most of what you say I suspect we are talking at cross purposes regarding levels. There will be noise in audio output card and the following mixer. So one would normally avoid setting operating levels too low. You are suggesting -16dB (-6dB on master & -10dB on track) ass...

Re: Global 'level trim' edit function
Hi John I see what you are saying, but as I had used the default setting of Max for the master I had nowhere to go. I may consider using a default master set lower, but until you run out of gain there is no way of knowing by how much to reduce this! There is a conflict between always wanting to use ...

Global 'level trim' edit function (in 10.3.0)
Hi Mike Have you considered having an Editor function that allows you to adjust all cue levels by a given amount? I have just run a show and found that one cue could not be played loud enough, without lifting the mixer levels. It would have been great to have an editor button that allowed one to red...

Why do 'as' and 'be' timers work differently?
Hi Mike Is there a reason why the "After Start" and "Before End" Auto Start cues work in different ways? "Before End" seems to trigger simply when the Main cue 'End' timer value is less than the value set in the auto start cue, whereas the "After Start" runs a separate timer. If you run the system i...

Re: Master volume fader change?
Hi Mike Could we also have the 'Next manual Cue' box expand to fill the space available when master is turned off? As all our productions use mics then as Boswell says the master fader is of no use to us. Some times Cue lines need to be long to avoid mistakes where words are repeated in the script! ...

Re: Relative Level Change
Hi Mike
I Having just had to adjust a pile of cues I think this is a great idea & option 2 seems the most sensible.
Surely anyone has used a mixer will automatically be comfortable with dB's of change.
Cheers

Minor Bug "Trim" on a playlist (Fix in 10.2.0)
Hi Mike
The Trim controls seem to have no effect in a play list cue.
You can change them in the editor, but they do not get saved.
Keep up the good work.

Re: Clicks when playing multiple cues.
Hi Mike Yes I think this can happen for manual or auto start. Just hadn't had any manual cues that ran over another. A few other observations;- i have now loaded SCS onto laptop and do not get the problem. I get the impression the problem goes away after a few cues have been played. If I then close ...

Clicks when playing multiple cues.
I am getting a significant click when a second cue is auto started whilst another is still playing. This also seems to happen if one cue ends, before another that is playing. Playing either cue on its own is fine. I have put fades in SCS but this has no effect. I am using 10.1.2 The file was created...
