Re: Device map per .scs11 file name?
Having a "set of device map definitions (that could be created and saved independently)" also has a potential issue. If you decide to modify one of these device maps to change the name of device or to remove a device, what happens if you then open an old cue file that uses the device name you chang...

Device map per .scs11 file name?
It looks like SCS saves one and only one device map definition file (.scsd) per .scs11 file name, which means that if you have 2 cue files with the same name, even if they're in different folders, you have to share the device map. My current show has a lot of long fades and long sub-cue relative start times, and so I have to maintain a copy with shorter times so I can step through cues quickly, but when I adjust someth...

adjustable stop cue fade-out time
SCS applies a quick fade-out envelope when stopping cues so they don't pop, and for most purposes this is exactly the behavior one wants. But for some cues it sounds too soft and polite, especially when the intent is to have a hard, unnatural interruption. In the old days I would either mute the cha...

I'd also like to see VST support (and, greedily, DirectX and Rewire). In the meantime, has anyone heard of an adapter that looks like an audio card driver on the input side and a Rewire “synth” on the output side? SCS could then just output to that, and Rewire could bring the signal into other softw...
