Re: 10.3.1 Can't assign a playlist to more than 2 output groups
Bruce, I am sure that Mike will post more to this topic but I think the short answer is what version do you have ( lite , Pro or Pro Plus etc.) I am pretty sure that in Pro Plus you can assign up to 8 devices to each cue. I have gotten around this in the past with earlier versions by auto-starting 2...

Re: Back Up to run if Computer fails beyond recovery
My other thought is that we have a digital board that has cues memorized in it so if I had a file at home I could burn to MD or CD that I could bring in and change the inputs from the Computer to the MD or CD that the show could run the same as it usually does until I can fix the problem. I just nee...

Re: Back Up to run if Computer fails beyond recovery
Boswell, Thanks for the post back. All input is appreciated. I have been using SCS for years now and I loveit !!!! Best thing ever created :) Thanks Mike !!!!! I think my main concern lies in my trusting my laptop LOL. I design in SEVERAL theatres so I travel a bit from place to place. Though I have...

Back Up to run if Computer fails beyond recovery
I am looking for ideas from everyone as to how to best do this. Is there a way that I can take the outputs from my sound card and send them to an Audio grabber program and then burn a CD or record a MD. I am thinking that this would allow all of the levels and fades to be recorded. Tracks could be s...

Re: SCS 10.3.0 suddenly became really unstable until....
So Mike, This brings up a the backup copy question again for me. I like the idea of two copies of SCS running at the same time. Once we have gotten through all of our editing and have the show set for the runs is there any reason why this would be a bad idea ? Does anyone else have any other ways th...

Re: Multiple Sound Cards
Then the Fire Studio MUST be ASIO because it has Zero Latency. Thanks that helps me out tremendously.

Re: Multiple Sound Cards
My problem is that some of this terminology is over my head. I do know that the Fire Studio publishes 4 pairs of outputs (1 & 2, 3&4, ...) so you consider each pair a device correct? So I can concievably run 16 devices which means with a L and R on each device that there are actually 32 speakers ? I...

Re: Multiple Sound Cards
It seems that the FP10 is being slowly replaced by the FireStudio Project which is basically the same thing. I am wondering about what you mean when you say Support for up to 16 sound cards or channels on a multi-channel card Each FireStudio Project has 8 Analog out balanced channels. Does that mean...

Re: Multiple Sound Cards
I am not sure if it helps or not but when I was talking to Presonus yesterday they asked if SCS was ASIO compatible and I told them that I thought I had read that it was. He said then that would be no problem to use the FP10 with it if that was the case. BUT he suggested that perhaps the FireStudio ...

Re: Multiple Sound Cards
And so if they are not published in pairs. Which I believe they are not. Then I would be able to output to 16 channels/speakers as hit by the max from SCS while the FP10 is capable of 10 each and I can run 3 at a time for a total of 30. Is that you read on it ? Yes FP10 is a Presonus. Website for Pr...

Multiple Sound Cards
Mike, I have a question about the capabilities of SCS Pro Plus. The theatre that I do MOST of my work in has 14 speakers set up in it that are preset all of the time. I was wondering if SCS can run 2 sound cards at the same time. For Example, what I am thinking is that I would get 2 FP 10's and thus...
