I had a fellow designer that was using Mac sound files on a PC and was having the same problem. Once the files were changed the problem went away. Hopefully it is that simple for you.

The older version of the FP10 is the FirePod so you might want to add that to your search as well. Probably more of a chance of finding that one at your $.
